Nine elements of Digital Citizenship are:
Digital Access: Full electronic participation in society
Appropriate: School provide computer lab for students
Inappropriate:No computer access for special needs students.
Digital Commerce: Electronic buying and selling of goods
Appropriate: Purchase goods online in trusted website
Inappropriate: Students purchase goods online without know how to protect their identity
Digial Communication: Electronic exchange of information
Appropriate: Teacher share information about school task, schedule, and student activities through email to the parents.
Inappropriate: Student use handphone for cheating during test
Digital Etiquette: Electronic standard/conduct procedure or in the simple word digital etiquette is the basic attitude in digital world that need to apply.
Appropriate: Use vibrant or silent mode during class or meeting
Inappropriate: Share hoax message into group chat
Digital Right and Responsibility: The freedom to use technology but we need to use it with responsible.
Appropriate: Students cite the websites when using information for class project
Inappropriate: Copy and paste information from digital sources without put or citing the websites
Digital Health and Wellness: Physical and psychological well-being about technology uses.
Appropriate: Use laptop on the hard surface and sit straightly in front of computer
Inappropriate: Be addicted to game online
Digital Law: Electronic responsibility for deeds and action
Appropriate: Use legal website for downloading movie and music
Inappropriate: Hacking into systems or network
Digital Literacy: The process of teaching and learning about technology and the uses of technology.
Appropriate: Students take computer online course
Inappropriate: Teachers do not provide resources when teaching about technology.
Digital Security: Electronic prevention to guarantee safety
Appropriate: Students use anti-virus to protect their computer/laptop
Inappropriate: Students fail to protect their identity when using social media.
